Meet Your Event Host

Martin

A local lad who grew up in Preston, with a real cheeky northern sense of humour and a larger than life personality, Martin really believes networking should be as enjoyable as it is productive.

Martin has been involved in property as a private landlord since 2004 when he bought his first single let in Preston. He is incredibly passionate about property, hospitality, business, and investing in general. His portfolio is based across Preston and the Fylde, including Kirkham, Warton and Freckleton.

It consists of single let’s, luxury HMO’s, Serviced Accommodation and Rent to Own. He also owns 3 Pubs and restaurants across the Preston and Fylde area as well. Keen on personal development Martin is, and has been, mentored by some of the best property investors in the business including best selling author Kevin McDonnell.

Martin has a real passion for helping people and solving problems, he specialises in creative strategies including; Lease Options, EDC’s and Tenant buyers.

Away from property Martin enjoys football, travelling, reading personal development books, and spending time with his fiancée and two children.

Dave

Coming from a background in IT Dave has over 15 years experience in the IT world, covering business intelligence, web design, databases, spreadsheets and any other aspect of business IT you can imagine, needless to say this makes him an expert at deal analysis, systems and systemising.

Dave is now the owner of 2 successful serviced accommodation and SA management companies Avarda and Cozypads.

They have units right across Preston and the Fylde, and even some in Wigan, housing both long term contractor bookings and leisure guests.

Dave is now planning the future scaling of Avarda with commercial to residential conversions, using SA as the exit.

If you want to know how to make huge cashflow from ordinary single let properties Dave is your man!

Your Event Speakers

Sean Fitzpatrick

Sean Fitzpatrick is a full-time property investor, educator, and the Face of Progressive Property. With a portfolio valued in the 7 figures and a knack for creative deal-making, off-market sourcing, and smart finance strategies, Sean brings real-world insight to every stage he steps on.

But his journey didn’t start in a boardroom—it started on an impoverished council estate in Northern Ireland.

A self-taught pianist, Sean earned his place at university through grit and determination. He went on to become a school teacher—but after years of working long hours for modest pay and missing precious time with family, he knew something had to change. That’s when he discovered Progressive Property—and everything did change.

As he immersed himself in the community and began to learn new ways of thinking, he started to see just how broken the education system really was: designed more to control children than to empower them, and filled with outdated ideas he was expected to enforce. The more he learned, the more he realised he was part of the problem.

By applying creative strategies and refusing to play by the "normal" rules, Sean turned his residential property from a financial burden into a high-performing asset. Just 18 months after finding Progressive, he walked away from his teaching job and into a life of financial independence.
