Raj has a degree and PhD in Genetics and previously worked for AstraZeneca for over 20 years.

In 2007/2008 he started getting some formal education in property, choosing to build a portfolio slowly alongside his day job which he loved. He started with simple BTLs for a few years, then moved onto HMOs.

He was made redundant at the end of 2011 so reluctantly, he became a full-time property investor Over the last 10 years, he has developed and optimised The LHA Strategy model to maximise rental income from simple BTLs

Six years ago, he joined the editorial team at YPN magazine and is currently co-editor of YPN Outside of work, Raj has far too many hobbies including walking, gym, golf, gardening and singing (which he does to raise money for charity). As he says ” I don’t know where I get all the time ”
