Hi, I’m Mark Ford, I started out as a carpenter and worked for a damp proofing company which is where my interest in property started. 

I moved into property maintenance working on a variety of properties old and new.  This helped me to gain a variety of skills including plastering, carpentry, bricklaying, groundwork, basic plumbing and electrics.

I am passionate about transforming properties from the ugly duckling into something that people are proud to call their home or into a place they enjoy staying in. 

Due to the economic circumstances at the time and a growing family, I then changed careers.  I’m a Line Manager running the warehouse for Torbay Hospital and just received my 10-year service medal for the Army reserves.  

The experiences I have from my Army and working career have provided many transferable skills that I have added to my property experience which all helps with our growing property portfolio but also our business.  

Like Traci, I am also passionate about helping people to gain financial independence and know that Exeter PPN is a great networking event that can help bring people together for mutual benefit as with the Army we are stronger together and so can be more successful in achieving our goals and dreams.
