Ian Morton who has been in property for 44 years, in the beginning his life leading to property came from when as a child he made models of castles in history to learn commercial interior Design. 

Leading to project management then design and build and finally Investment and Development via commercial conversion to bring it all together to build a dream in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Ian has completed an exciting commercial conversion of an old 1749 stables using SSAS. Purchase £500k (SSAS), Development loan £1,5M (CrowdProperty). All creating a stunning staycation apart-hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. RICS GDV is £2.9m. 

Ian won SSAS investor of the year 2021 with the project, his talk will be based around this exciting project. 

He will explain the refinance and the next stage of the estate, which is the Sawmill....and then Marske Hall is after that. 

Phase 1 Marske Stables has been trading successfully as Luxury Holiday cottages. 

Phase 2 Marske Sawmill is nearing completion. 

Phase 3 Marske Hall is being purchased this week and we are starting the conversion into Luxury cottages and Apartments. 

Ian is now looking to develop the old Dog House as a cafe bar and then phase 4 which involves more planning applications and investment.
