It is with a huge amount of enthusiasm that I take on the role of Co Host at PPN Belfast – Northern Ireland’s ONLY Progressive networking event!!  Having immersed myself in the world of property investment and education at the PP Headquarters I was only too delighted to take on this role.

This event will be invaluable to the Northern Ireland property scene, particularly Belfast which has become a hub of energy and enthusiasm for all things property related, more so than ever in recent times as investment strategies have become much more creative and accessible. For those who have already delved into the world of property, or those at the tentative beginnings of their journey, PPN Belfast will offer an indispensable core space of knowledge and energy.

I have spent the last 12 years working in the Finance industry, 3 of which were spent in the Social Housing sector, and the last 2 years in private property management.  Having this level of experience behind me gave me great confidence when I first took the decision to pursue my own path in property investment. I understand the high level attention to detail required when working with both the public and private sector, and that above all else…..it really is a numbers game.

In September 2018 I took the first steps on my own property journey- from a standing start. I did this in the form of attending a networking event, it would be fair to say that life did a 180 from that night onwards and I am incredibly proud of all that I have achieved in this short space of time. The education I have submerged myself in has paid dividends and is a testament to the fact that the best investment you can make is in yourself.

To date I have sourced,  negotiated and secured excess of 12 property deals, the bulk of these deals having never reached the open market . I have project managed a number of refurbishments running simultaneously (I reached new levels of stress I never before believed possible!), and I now have a portfolio of Serviced Accommodation properties based in Belfast which continues to be ever expanding Scale is our focus and all units we acquire will continue to be added to our MIGHTY LIVING collection of serviced accommodation units

Key to all of my accomplishments has been partnerships, the relationships I have formed and the recognition of complementary and mutual admiration have become the foundations for much, much bigger plans. With partners, sometimes one plus one equals three!! As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”!!

My reason WHY for wanting to have my own portfolio and business, alongside co-hosting PPN Belfast is very simple. Above all else in life I am a mother first and foremost and I value my time most when it involves spending it with my family creating memories. Investing in property has afforded me the opportunity to invest for freedom, time and profit. I am a huge advocate for networking, it has been a powerful tool in the opportunities that I have enjoyed in my journey so far.
