Amy Is a UK-based international researcher and social entrepreneur working in the field of affordable housing solutions and homelessness prevention and response.
Having experienced homelessness at the age of sixteen, Amy has a deep-rooted passion for supporting people who have no home of their own and genuine empathy with the plight of obtaining sustainable housing options whilst experiencing complex and personally challenging issues.
In 2016, Amy became a Fellow of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. The fellowship enabled her to travel to the United States, visiting innovative housing and homelessness projects such as Project Homeless Connect and Lava Mae in San Francisco, and Breaking Ground in New York.
Socially Homes launched in 2021, a Social networking for Social Housing. The networking site has been billed as the 'Uber for homelessness' due to its potential to connect.
