Chris is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW and also ACCA qualified), Auditor, Business Coach and Trained Mediator. He has vast experience and knowledge of working in the property and sports industries within the UK and advises many property owners, athletes and family business clients on how to manage their finances, run their businesses and minimise their Tax.

Previously with EY, a global advisory firm, he went on to be a founding partner of GMS FC, an Ipswich based Accountancy firm who work with a wide range of clients from start up’s, to multi million pound enterprises.

His experience and knowledge is practically based. He has formed, operated and sold many of his own businesses, with his first one started at the age of just 16!

Chris is also a previous non-executive Finance Director of the British Athletes Commission and the England Handball Association and sits on the Board of Trustees for several Sports related Charities. He was also on the UK Sport Advisory group looking at the design and implementation of the new Athlete Performance Awards.

As well as advising business owners, and being a non-exec Finance Director for some of his high growth clients, Chris is an investor and has a range of investments across multiple asset classes, including property, SSAS, forex and private company shares.
