Born in Ipswich, I’ve spent most of my working life selling property in one way or another. I fell into estate agency around 1982 and spent the following 25 years managing both independent and corporate agency offices between Ipswich and Sudbury and even during an 18 month spell in the Republic of Ireland which is a whole other story! 

After falling out of love with the business but still with my enthusiasm for property, I moved into auctions in 2008 with a small family operation which I left in 2013 to set up and run the Suffolk arm of Auction House East Anglia, the largest and most successful property & land auctioneers both in East Anglia and Nationally. 

Outside of work I live on Ipswich Waterfront with my wife Alison and can often be found at Hintlesham Golf Club trying to hone my somewhat agricultural game!
